It's worth noting that one of the guys who Emily and I played soccer with on a regular basis when we in Oklahoma passed away earlier today. I'm under the impression that his family hasn't been fully notified yet, so no more details until later.
On a happier note, Emily started her new job today. She's got a shiny new ID and is learning the ins and outs of all of her fabulous benefits (such as making 130% of her husband's salary).
My roommate from freshman year at OU, Sco, has been in Minnesota for the past few months training as some kind of insurance grunt at Federated in Owatonna. We went to the Twins game on Saturday and saw the Twinkies crush the Rangers 14-2. Afterwards we enjoyed some tasty deep dish at Davanni's... so good.
Speaking of things getting crushed at the Metrodome, my iPhone took a tumble there and got 3 nice cracks across its screen. Apple won't fix it for free, so, for the moment, my phone has a lot of character.

Speaking of trains, I stumbled across a classified ad the other day for a guy who had to sell off his N scale stuff. It turns out that I already knew the guy, and that he lived across town.
