The Rustic Overtones. One of the best bands ever. I think so anyway.
They're the only group that I've developed a schoolgirl-like obsession for. They were a group from Maine that sounded really good. Their last performance was on May 11, 2002. They were a 7 member group that played a mix of alternative pop/rock/ska with saxophones and an organ (and drums/guitar/bass). So good. They had been mothballed for a while, but now they're putting out a new record and playing a few shows... hopefully I'll get a chance to see them live.
